ได้ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 2534 โดยความร่วมมือจากสถาบันพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสิ่งทอ , กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม, ผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมฟอก ย้อม พิมพ์สิ่งทอและผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ โดยมีการเลือกตั้งนายกสมาคมฯ และคณะกรรมการบริหารสมาคมฯ มีจำนวนไม่น้อยกว่า 9 คน และไม่เกิน 15 คน ซึ่งอยู่ในตำแหน่งคราวละ2 ปี

โทรศัพท์ 0-2129-3965-6 โทรสาร 0-2129-3967 Background The Association of Thai Textile Bleaching Dyeing Printing and Finishing Industries was established on November 5th, 1991 with the support of Textile Industry Division (under Bureau of Industrial Sectors Development, Ministry of Industry), academicians and manufacturers of Thai textile bleaching dyeing printing and finishing industries and those of other related industries. The Association of Thai Textile Bleaching Dyeing Printing and Finishing Industries serves as a representative of textile wet processing manufacturers with the function of disseminating useful information and promoting better understanding within the private sector and between the public and private sectors, and propounding information and suggestion acquired from members to concerned governmental organizations for the formulation of national policy pertaining to the textile wet processing industries.Policies 1. To promote, cooperate and support the Industrial Restructuring Plan, particularly in the textile sector, in order to upgrade development of the Thai textile industry to improve its strength and efficiency. 2. To promote technical research and development on textile wet processes by coordinating with technical organizations and institutes, e.g., Ministry of Science and Technology, Chulalongkorn University and Thailand Research Fund. 3. To motivate and encourage the application of environmental management system by establishing awareness and understanding on the conformity of industrial development and environmental conservation. 4. To cooperate with other textile organizations, e.g., the Thai Synthetic Fiber Manufacturers’ Association, the Thai Textile Manufacturing Association, the Thai Weaving Industry Association, and the Thai Garment Manufacturers Association, in order to develop and produce a variety of high value-added products to reinforce the competitiveness of the Thai textile industry in the global market. 5. To establish an alliance network among textile industries, governmental agencies, educational institutes, and private development organizations for the continuity in the development of the Thai textile industry. Member’s Privileges 1. Members may propose useful information and suggestion for the establishment of national policy and national standards of products. 2. Members may request for the assistance and support from the ATDP on the subjects relevant to the ATDP’s objectives and within the capability of the ATDP. 3. Members may share ideas in the development of the directives for unraveling problems of environmental issues and basic utility for production, namely water and electricity. 4. Members may participate in activities and seminars organized regularly by the ATDP. 5. Members will receive a copy of the ATDP’s technical journal “Colourway” every two months. 6. Members will be well informed about new technology and useful information by means of internet (www.atdptextile.org), letters and others. 7. Ordinary members may be elected to join the ATDP’s administrative committee and may vote in the election of ATDP’s administrative committee which is held every two years.
